DFK membership offers access to an international group of accounting firms that have a similar ethos and commitment to meeting the needs of clients. The association helps members develop their firms through sharing professional, technical and practice management information. Assistance is available for the active development of both national and international business opportunities rather than simply relying on clients to identify needs.
DFK Canada has earned the top spot in the 2015 Bottom Line top accounting association survey for the seventh year in a row. Members are expected to participate fully in the association's activities and support national conferences and training seminars. Compliance with the DFK membership criteria and international standards is mandatory, as are prompt responses to member firms and the association's communications.
To gain membership of DFK Canada there is a well-structured process. Applicant firms should contact the DFK Canada Executive Office in the first instance.
You will then be requested to complete a detailed pre-admittance questionnaire which, if reviewed and successful, is followed by a practice review by a member of the DFK Canada Executive Committee. Following this visit and report, the DFK Board of Directors and Full Members of the Association vote formally on admittance to membership.
