MRSB Announces New Firm Partners

MRSB is pleased to announce Jaclyn Waite and Chris MacPhee have joined the partnership of MRSB.

Everett Roche, Managing Partner of MRSB, states, “this is an exciting time for our firm as we expand our ownership team to include Jaclyn and Chris. This further strengthens our leadership as we continue to grow and diversify as an independent, full-service professional services firm.”

Jaclyn Waite, CPA, CA joined MRSB in 2004 as a co-op student. She completed her BBA in 2005 from University of Prince Edward Island and received her Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in 2007. Since that time, Jaclyn has worked on a number of client accounts with a focus on audit and assurance files. Jaclyn will continue overseeing a number of files, as well as continuing management of Western PEI operations. A native of Summerside, Jaclyn is an active community member and was a former member of a special committee to oversee fundraising and construction of the Summerside Rotary Library. She is President Elect of Summerside Rotary and a Board Member of the Summerside Chamber of Commerce.

Chris MacPhee, CPA, CA, a native of Souris, PEI, earned his CPA, CA designation in 2009. Prior to returning home to PEI, Chris spent 11 years working for an accounting firm in Halifax, NS.  In 2017, he joined MRSB, where he works with a variety of owner-managed businesses as well as clients in the agriculture industry to provide tax planning and business advisory services. Chris is the founding member and Chair of the PEI Chapter of Canadian Association of Farm Advisors (CAFA), a non-profit professional organization dedicated to assisting farm businesses by increasing the skills and knowledge of farm advisors.  He also serves as a mentor to MRSB students in the CPA program and young professionals in the industry.
